Joelle Crigger loves entertaining on her fiddle and has been doing so since age 6. She is an accomplished violinist, fiddler, pianist, and a keen step dancer who enjoys music of all kinds. Winner of the Canadian Open Junior Fiddle Championship in Shelburne last summer, she has also enjoyed playing with the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra for the past five years. Earlier this year, Joelle was excited to place second in the Ontario Provincial Music Competition. As well, she was thrilled to be accepted into the Government of Ontario Summer Company program in 2018, where she was given the opportunity to start her own music business at age 15. Within her community, Joelle serves as a young-artist-as-educator at DAREarts Music Days, where she especially enjoys working with Grade 5 students in the TDSB. She is honoured to have been invited to play at the World Vision Christmas Chapel for the past four years, and is thrilled to be the youngest member of The Great Canadian Fiddle Show as of March this year. Joelle looks forward to pursuing a career in music in the future.
