Pari Rajagopalan

With a career spanning two decades, Pari has made significant contributions across several sectors. After earning a master’s degree in Public Administration, she took on roles in provincial and federal government before setting her sights on the non-profit world. A true believer in the power of civil society to affect real social change, Pari is an experienced leader with a passion for driving change through strategic innovation, partnerships, and meaningful data collection.

While the non-profit sector has been central to Pari’s work over the last decade, her passion for the arts has been a lifelong presence. Starting her career as a professional Bharatnatyam dancer, she performed, toured, and taught with the Menaka Thakkar Dance Company, an experience that gave her a firsthand understanding of how the arts can help a young person find their sense of self. Working with Thrive Youth represents a truly exciting opportunity to marry these two passions. As Executive Director, Pari is looking forward to leveraging her wide-ranging expertise and personal connection to the arts to make a lasting impact on Thrive and the youth it serves.

Pari’s favourite art-related memories come from standing on stage in an empty theatre and experiencing the quiet calm before the storm and feeling the absolute magic of creating something together with other humans. When she’s not at work, you can find Pari spending time with her family, plucking away on the guitar, and tinkering on the piano.
