The Maddie Project and DAREarts have partnered to make sure children and youth in underserved communities have the support they need to care for their mental wellness during the COVID-19 pandemic. To make this possible, The Maddie Project has donated $10,000 to provide 800 Creativity Kits to children across Canada. These kits contain wellness-focused, art-based activities and vital supplies to help young people express themselves and build self-care habits during this difficult time.
Currently, DAREarts has a waitlist of hundreds more teachers, families and community workers who have requested Creativity Kits to support the young people in their lives. We need your help to say yes to as many of these requests as possible.
Every $25.00 donation sends one kit to a child in need. A $100 contribution provides kits for 4 children living in a family shelter. Your $500 gift provides kits to every student in a classroom located in an underserved community. Your donation today will make a huge difference in the lives of young people across Canada.
